Registration commences 7:00 am

8:00am start, swimmers sent off in waves..

Course:

Start and Finish at Leighton beach, race briefing to be given on the beach before commencement of swim.

Ages

3200m & 1600m swim recommended to 12 years and above

400m recommended  to swimmers 9 years and above

Entry Fee:

3200m swim or 1600m swim $25 per swimmer
400m swim $12 per swimmer

Thursday 11^th February 2010

Late Entries:

Will be accepted on the day before 7:30 am

Late entry fee $ 40.00 for  3200m or 1600m swim.

Timing:

Swimmers will receive an electronic time with all swimmers required to wear a timing band on their ankle.

Breakfast

Consists of a Bacon egg burger with fruit and a muffin for $10.00.

Conditions of Entry

1.     For the safety of other swimmers, no heavy jewellery or watches to be worn.

2.     Wetsuits may be worn, but entrants will not be eligible for major prizes. FINS NOT ALLOWED

3.     Participation in the event is voluntary. No liability can be accepted by Fremantle SLSC and the organizers for accident or injury to persons or property whilst participating in this event.

4.     In the event of a race cancellation the entry fee shall be non-refundable.

1600 m swim:

·          Fastest Male & Female  (winner of this event not eligible for age group prize)

·          5 year age groups (Fastest Male and Female)

·          Closest to nominated time
